This venue has true historical value for the city. It plays host to one of the oldest functioning telescopes in Europe. Dating back to 1907, the 3 ton “Big Hat” telescope is still used today to monitor the celestial bodies and record the data.

A MAGIC EVENING
The evening will include a full tour of the observatory and depending on the time of year you will get to see one of the celestial bodies. You will also learn about the incredible work that this centre is doing in the fields of seismology, astrology and metrology. You will be shown some of the many tools that were used to study science in the early 1900s including the first seismograph that measures an earth tremor In San Francisco. Choose from a series of high quality menus to compliment the night!
THE observatory
The Observatory was built on the highest point of Barcelona to avoid the light pollution from the city, this gives the venue an unmatched view of the whole of Barcelona at night. As part of this experience, you will have access to the views above the sky, the craters of the moon, Jupiter and even Saturn are visible through the powerful microscope. This building is a privately funded and as such there are some strict rules as to the type of events that can be held here, we can organise, Opera Singers, Live Bands and other exclusive cultural experiences for your enjoyment.
